music update

  • Kick, White Rose Movement: I’m not particularly a fan of the 80’s pop-synth-rock sound (and its recent comeback), but this seems to be an exception.
  • The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!: Saul Williams: Mix the sound of Nine Inch Nails from the Year Zero (if you were to mix both albums, you probably wouldn’t make the difference before Saul sings) and The Fragile era with the voice and texts of Saul Williams, and voilà!
  • El Cielo, Dredg: Still mixed feelings, their sound didn’t change that much between albums.

I like the work of Saul Williams. And I was pleased by the initiative to sell it online, even though I think $5 is cheap (at least if you currently do the change for euros).
